Scala di soglia (portatile), 2011. I built a portable stair for an imaginary threshold. An object of our certainty. A symbol of research. A safe place, made by our experiences. A place where becoming aware of. Three steps to go everywhere. To get up and see, to change the point of view, to get away from reality, without getting lost. Searching for questions. Hope. Climbing to leave the past. There is no place or a specific time, it happens always. The stair is the medium that brings me to a threshold. It’s a hint, a gesture, a short path, a simple movement: physical, mental. It’s how you get out looking for answers: “Where am I?”. Here, there, everywhere.
